Testnet Terms of Use
Article 1 (Purpose)
These Testnet Terms of Use (the “Terms”) define the rights, obligations, responsibilities, and conditions of use between Dunamu Inc. (the “Company”) and users (the “Users”) with respect to the GIWA Layer 2 Testnet service (the “Service”) provided by the Company.
Article 2 (Definitions)
“Testnet” means a blockchain network that has a structure similar to the mainnet but operates with test tokens of no economic value, solely for the purpose of verifying and experimenting with blockchain services and features.
“Test Tokens” means tokens that are used exclusively within the Testnet, have no economic value, and cannot be transferred or traded outside the Testnet.
“Faucet” means a system that distributes Test Tokens free of charge, either automatically or semi-automatically, to facilitate the use of the Testnet.
Article 3 (Eligibility)
To be eligible to use the Service, the Users must comply with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations.
Article 4 (Nature of the Service)
The Service constitutes a test environment for testing, development, and verification purposes, and may be subject to delays, errors, disruptions, or chain reorganizations and data resets occurring without prior notice.
The Service is a separate and independent service from Upbit, unrelated to virtual asset transactions (including trading, exchange, custody or management, and transfers). It is not, and shall not be guaranteed to be, integrated with centralized exchanges (CEX), decentralized exchanges (DEX), or any similar platforms.
Article 5 (Test Tokens and Faucet)
All Test Tokens provided under the Service are intended solely for testing and development convenience, and, in principle, no consideration of any kind shall be required in return for their provision.
Test Tokens are not issued by the Company or any of its affiliates, carry no economic value, and shall not be exchanged, redeemed, or converted into any asset or monetary value.
Test Tokens are distributed free of charge through the Faucet designated by the Company (https://faucet.giwa.io), and the Company may determine limits, frequency, or other conditions of such distribution.
Article 6 (Provision, Modification, Suspension, and Reset of the Service)
The Company may, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, modify, suspend, or terminate all or any part of the Service at any time.
Owing to the nature of the Testnet, blockchain disruptions, resets, or rollbacks (i.e., reverting the blockchain to a previous state due to erroneous transactions, inclusion of invalid data, or network issues) may occur, which may result in the loss of balances, transaction histories, contract states, or other data.
The continuous operation of the Testnet is not guaranteed, and the Company shall bear no liability for any losses arising from any modification, suspension, termination, or restart of the Testnet.
Article 7 (Prohibited Conduct and Restrictions)
The following acts are strictly prohibited:
Abusing the Faucet, including but not limited to bypassing restrictions, submitting automated or mass claims, or engaging in any other misuse.
Using the Service in violation of applicable laws or these Terms, infringing upon the rights of third parties, or for purposes of fraud, money laundering, or sanctions evasion.
Engaging in the sale or paid transfer of Test Tokens received through the Service, or otherwise assigning or utilizing any economic value to Test Tokens.
Making any misleading or deceptive statements, including but not limited to suggesting or implying investment returns in connection with the Test Tokens or the Service.
Conducting promotional activities or other commercial endeavors using the Test Tokens or the Service without the Company’s prior approval.
Article 8 (Risk Disclosure and User Responsibility)
Users shall not arbitrarily reset or alter any transaction records on the Testnet.
Users acknowledge that, due to their own negligence, issues may arise including but not limited to the loss of cryptographic keys (such as private keys or seed phrases), erroneous transfers, or errors in invoking smart contracts.
Test Tokens, personal wallets, and transaction histories may be recorded on a public ledger.
Article 9 (Personal Data)
The Company may collect and process logs, wallet addresses, IP addresses, and other relevant information for the purposes of operating the Service, preventing abuse, and providing customer support. The protection and use of personal data are subject to applicable laws and the Company's Privacy Policy.
Due to the inherent nature of blockchain technology, data recorded on-chain may be publicly accessible and permanently preserved, and cannot be arbitrarily deleted.
Users shall not input or upload any personal data, confidential information, or other sensitive information on-chain. Notwithstanding the foregoing, if a User nevertheless inputs such sensitive information on-chain, the User acknowledges that such information cannot be arbitrarily deleted and shall exercise particular caution.
The Company shall bear no obligation to delete or otherwise remove any data recorded on-chain.
Article 10 (Amendments to the Terms)
The Company may amend these Terms from time to time as necessary. Users shall be deemed to have agreed to the amended Terms if they continue to use the Service after the effective date of such amendments.
Article 11 (Governing Law and Dispute Resolution)
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Seoul Central District Court.
